The role
Design the systems our clients bet their operations on: financial flows, logistics pipelines, integration backbones. You will work with enterprise data platforms (Oracle Autonomous Database, Snowflake, SQL Server) and integration layers that move serious money — correctness over cleverness, always.What you'll do
- Design schemas and services with real transactional thinking (isolation levels, idempotency, exactly-once illusions)
- Own API contracts (REST/SOAP) consumed by enterprise clients and integration clouds
- Tune queries until EXPLAIN plans bore you; own data integrity end-to-end
- Write the runbook before the incident, not after
Non-negotiable requirements (all verifiable)
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering or equivalent — diploma folio verified with the institution
- One verifiable professional certification, pick your weapon: Oracle Certified Professional (Java or PL/SQL), AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft AZ-204, or equivalent — credential ID checked against the issuer's registry
- 5+ years production back-end with enterprise databases; you can narrate one incident you caused and fixed
- Advanced SQL on at least two engines — we test live: window functions, locking, query plans
- English C1 — you will join calls with enterprise clients
- You design for audit: every important thing has a state, a trail and an owner
